This is the story of the restoration of my 1965 Daimler V8 2.5Litre Sports Sedan.
It starts on Friday the 22nd of September 2006 when I took delivery of the car.
It will go on for as long as it takes to get it looking like the picture below.

So far the only progress is to clear out all the parts and spares from inside the car and the boot, store these and the car away in my garage whilst making some extra room in the garage to work on the car.
This is now not the only progress, I have started to fix the few mechanical problems with the Daimler.
The first thing was to purchase new SU parts as I was told by the previous owner that the Jet and Diaphragms needed replaceing so to start I had to remove and strip down the Carburettor's, whilst at it I gave them a good cleanup and polish so they are now shining like new.
